BETHLEHEM Announces New Vocalist
May 16, 2011German extreme metallers BETHLEHEM have announced the addition of vocalist Malte Langenbrinck (CHAOS INVOCATION) to the group's ranks.
Langenbrinck will make his live debut with BETHLEHEM at the Under The Black Sun festival, set to take place July 1-2 in Bernau/Helenau (near Berlin),Germany.
BETHLEHEM's sixth full-length studio album, "A Sacrificial Offering To The Kingdom Of Heaven In A Cracked Dog's Ear", was released in June 2009 via Red Stream Records. The LP was a re-release of BETHLEHEM's 1998 effort, "S.U.i.Z.i.D.", but remastered and remixed, along with re-recorded vocals by Niklas Kvarforth (SHINING).
Kvarforth announced his departure from BETHLEHEM in March, citing "the rapid growth of [SHINING] over the last year, and the commitment that SHINING now requires of me." He said in a statement, "BETHLEHEM is still my all-time favorite band and I wish them all the best for the future."
